A note from Reel Butter founder Head Honcho:

I started this site with everyone who works in film, in mind. I felt that there was no linking force here in Los Angeles (and likely in other places), short of money and established connections that created a true film community. Not unions, organizations, or money entities but just a place where seasoned pros, layman and everyone in-between can come to connect, learn, and get involved with this business/art form. So I built it and they did come. Recently I noticed that people from over seas and other countries come upon Reel Butter and I wanted to extend to them a welcome. I guess for selfish reasons I focused on Los Angeles, CA cause it is where I live and work but I wanted all of you to know you're welcome to browse the site, chat at our message board, write us an e-mail and become part of the community.
This is a great business, with great people and I really feel that anyone can benefit from knowing others who are just as passionate about this business as they are or as I am. So I urge you to leave a message on our boards, e-mail us your thoughts and be a part of it this film community, here in Los Angeles and around the globe. As I strive to make this board better and more useful for all of us.
